Day by day, our communication is being furnished with new and more sophisticated wireless devices and the trend in the use of wireless equipment is increasing extensively. Do you see that in future, all networks based on physical communication media will completely be replaced by the wireless media where every device in the network will be without wire? In your opinion, will it be possible to have every network without physical communication media or there will always be the need of physical communication media for networks? Give solid reason supporting your opinion.

There is no business, industry, project which can be progressed without the needs of wireless networks

A wireless local-area network (LAN) uses radio waves to connect devices such as laptops to the Internet and to your business network and its applications. When you connect a laptop to a WiFi hotspot at a cafe, hotel, airport lounge, or other public place, you’re connecting to that business’s wireless network. In the past, some believed wired networks were faster and more secure than wireless networks. But continual enhancements to wireless networking standards and technologies have eroded those speed and security differences. In the modern age a vast range of communicating devices are operated and used in wireless environment, i.e Bluetooth, Infrared, GPRS and Wi-Fi. These are good sources of unguided media in the modern age. The wireless network will cover a vast range of communication in near future. It has main advantage of cable less communication which saves additional cost for cabling. Now a day a lot of remote controlled toys are using radio way technology which is a wireless communication and covers communication or signaling distances up to some extent. Any how warless communication is limited to some specific working range or distance. Wireless communication usually has less data transfer rate as compared to cabled/wired network. Therefore we will still have to continue using wired communication because it covers more communication distance and more data transfer rate.
