‘Technology Mind’ is a manufacturer of computer accessories and acquires 15% of the market share. The newly appointed CEO, Mr. Fahad thought of increasing company’s presence in the market and aimed to achieve annual sales of Rs. 0.5 billion by the end of 2015. In order to achieve this target, he planned to reposition the brand, expand the range of distributors, improve customer management and introduce the concept of Learning Organization into the workplace. To lay the foundation of Learning Organization, Mr. Fahad worked out a complete roadmap. He decided to adopt centralized decision making system in order to ensure organization wide unity and formalized reporting system. Functional structure is advised for the organization so that the target of converting an organization into an adaptive and learning system would be achieved.
