MS(CS) Fall 2012 Course Selection

All MS(CS) students are required to select their courses for the Fall 2012 semester from the following list of courses, and email their selected courses at mscs_courseselection@vu.edu.pk till Monday, i.e.,1st October, 2012. Please note, students who are required to study prerequisites course must select required prerequisite courses first. A student who has completed 21 MS level credit hours of course work with a CGPA not less than 2.75 can enroll MS thesis.

General Rules

 

1.      A student can only enroll a course if he/she has taken pre-requisites for that particular course.

2.      A student can improve a ‘C’ or ‘D’ grade in a course only once.

3.      A student can only select subjects from a pool of subjects that is being offered in current semester.

4.      In a single semester, a student can enroll 4 MS subjects, i.e. 12 MS level credit hours.

Degree Requirements

 

To get the MS(CS) degree a student is required to take four courses from his/her area of specialization, four core courses, and a research-based thesis.

 

Commencement of Classes

Please note that Fall 2012 semester will start from 15th October, 2012.
